TPE-A is thermoplastic polyamide. TPE-A and TPE-E are the highest performers in the TPE group.
Why choose it?
- Mechanical properties are equal to or even better than those of TPE-E
- Lower density
- Is available transparent
- Thermal stability over a wide service temperature area (from -50°C to +140°C)
Why not choose it?
- TPE-A might not go low enough on the Shore A scale
- High cost – choose only if you need the performance
