TPE-V

TPE-V is a blend of PP and vulcanized EPDM.

Why choose it?

  • Common choice, easy to find references.
  • TPE-V has better thermal and chemical resistance than TPE-S.
  • Good fatigue resistance.
  • Good adhesion with most other thermoplastics in 2K applications.

Why not choose it?

  • Abrasion and scratch resistance might not be adequate.

Typical applications:

  • Various interior car parts that are made of rubber; sealings etc.
  • 2K handle of a knife or a dish brush. They are exposed to chemicals, heat, and grease.
